These are exciting times for the Jurong area. The picturesque locale is envisioned to be a thriving urban hub with lifestyle destinations, residential areas and an efficient commuter system, all encompassed in the verdant scenery. Nicknamed as the CBD of western Singapore, the Jurong Lake District and Jurong Gateway have become increasingly desirable for business and leisure developments alike.

In Jurong West rises the new Westwood Residences EC, a 99-year leasehold by Heeton Holdings Limited and Koh Brothers Group. Executive Condominiums are very rare in this part of Singapore. In fact, Westwood Residences is only the second EC in the general area within the past 17 years, following Lakelife which launched just last year. There won’t be another any time soon.

Five, fourteen-storey blocks make up this homey, family-friendly community. There will be 480 residential units, from two-bedroom through five-bedroom units. So whether you’re still planning a family or you already have a growing one, there’s a home here for you.

Apart from the wealth of home choices, the development will also have in-house amenities that uplift and inspire. Feel free to use the club house, the function room, the indoor gym, the 50-meter lap pool, and the barbecue area. Westwood Residences EC also happens to be the first-ever residential development in Singapore that promotes bike riding. Thus, it will feature a bicycle oval, a cycling track, a parking area for bikes, and a range of cyclist-friendly facilities.

Location and Accessibility

The 186,053-square foot site on Westwood Avenue is situated in a mostly-residential estate for landed homes, bounded by the PIE and Jalan Boon Lay. Driving to the Central business District via the PIE, KJE or the AYE will take you less than 30 minutes. The location is discretely separated from the clamour of the busy city, yet conveniently surrounded by a wealth of resources like parks, schools, shopping malls and eateries.

The neighborhood has several bus stops, but you may opt to go to the nearest MRT Stations, which are Pioneer and Boon Lay. Both are on the East-West Line. Just a few stops away is the Jurong East MRT Station, which lets you change to the North-South Line.

You won’t need to go far to shop for your family’s needs. In a mere three minutes, you can walk to the Gek Poh Shopping Centre, which has a supermarket, retail stores, a food court, fast food outlets, a bakery and other establishments. There’s also a Sheng Siong Supermarket just around the corner. A few blocks away is Pioneer Mall, which has a Giant Hypermarket, some shops and eateries.Near the Boon Lay station is Jurong Point.
