Hillsta400

Hillsta is the first residential development of its kind in of Choa Chu Kang. Over 400 luxurious homes are swathed in landscaped greenery and details that emulate the beauty of nature. This Japanese-inspired hillside community is designed to embody the “satoyama” – or “foothills” in Japanese – where humans live harmoniously with nature and with one another.

Come in through the tree-lined driveway that echoes the nearby woodlands. From the drop off area, you can stroll around peacefully to discover delights such as a lagoon-like Relaxation Pool – it has a splendid waterfall and a Kyoto-style kawa-doko pavilion deck. Beyond that is the River Spa Resort, which has an onsen-style spa pavilion. Near these are the children’s pools and the playground. There are also some decorative water features, a stone wall, and a vertical garden, all coming together to bring nature into the heart of the community. From there, you can walk to you’ll find stream-like Serenity Pools and the cascading landscaped gardens, divinely poised in front of the townhouses. As you continue exploring, you’ll come upon a host of other pleasures, such as lap pools with pool decks, shady pavilions, a gym, a tennis court, a jogging trail, gardens, function rooms and some shops. All around are trees and shrubbery that create a fresh, green environment.

Hillsta has a lot to offer its residents besides the satoyama setting and the nature-inspired amenities. The development has a total of 416 homes, including160 SoHo units, 228 condo apartments, and 20 townhouses.

These aren’t typical, cramped home-office units, but stylish apartments with high ceilings and lots of usable space. Of these, 84 come with one bedroom (543-598 sq ft), 42 with two bedrooms (643-715 sq ft), and 42 three bedrooms (773-871 sq ft). There will also be a number of “White SoHos” that allow you to get creative with your use of space.

You can also wind down with a round of golf at the Bukit Batok Golf Range or the Warren Golf and Country Club.
